Throughout my childhood I was obese. I was always the funny fat kid that no one ever wanted to date. I was made fun of brutally throughout grammar school and middle school. I was called every derogatory name for fat people you could think of Pig, Chair crusher, Crisco Kid, blob, Butterball, Tubby, and Matty the Fatty. This went on in till high school when I stared to loose weight. In total I lost 75 pounds mostly in one years time. I now see people from middle school, high school, and grammar school that don’t recognize me. The conversation usually stars with me reintroducing myself, and the person responding with “Oh wow you look good”. My brother recently had a deployment party all of his friends from high school were there, and not a single one recognized me. It was a weird blast from the past to see all of those people again. Because I was fat when I was a child I never want to be fat again. I now exercise regularly, and I really do enjoy it! It is amazing how much simple name calling can effect a persons life.
1 pound of fat... I think it kind of looks like mashed up canned peaches.
