Living In the Past
Ever since I can remember the era of the 1950’s has been a big part of my life. Even though the cold war was over ,I loved it so much that my life revolved around the 1950’s I listened to records, had thoughts of going to sock hops with my friends, drive in movies, roller rinks all stuff that young people did not do anymore. I stopped using the computer, and preferred using a type writer. I cooked jiffy pop on the stove, instead of microwaving popcorn. I did not play video games, I played sports and surfed. One day I realized that I could not be living my life in the past, and had to live in today’s times. I started to play catch up to learn about what I missed in the 90’s and early 2000’s. This helped to shape who I am today, if you learn about the past it is easier to advance into the future.
