Christmas

I love the Christmas season all of the stores are filled with presents. Towns are decorated for the season. There are tons of people out shopping looking for gifts for their loved ones. The hustle and bustle is seen in malls and town squares. The gifts that people are looking for gifts that are not from the heart. My favorite gifts are those that had some thought put into them. I know that when I get older I will be the dad with hand print ash trays, and a collage of hand made pictures on the wall gifts from my children. I feel that the most important gift for Christmas is the companionship of loved ones. Every year on Christmas Eve I always see people in diners eating alone with no family. On Christmas day where do the lonely and broken hearted go; the people who have outlived their friends and family, I hope I never become one of these people.
